"Hey bani" kya kar rahi ho? Asked jai while entering the class. Bani and jai both were best friends.

" Hey jai I was waiting for you. You know we both are partners in our physics practical. Isn't it great"

"yeah its great. Tu practical karna aur main teri copy kar loonga"

"shut up chalo ab practical karte hain."

Jai was senior to bani but somehow he missed his exam because he was not well at that time and now was in bani's class. And now they are in their final year.

After completing the practicals they entered the canteen where they found pia , pushkar , rano and sahil chatting happily.

"kya yaar tum logon ne practical jaldi complete kar liya. Is jai k kaaran hum logon ko time laga."said bani while eating Cadbury.(Cadbury was her favourite. But she still she share it with everyone.)

They laughed along and saw ranveer entering the canteen from sports room.

"hey bhai kaisa hai tu. Bhook lagi hai na chal apan log kuch khaate hain" said bani.ranveer happily agreed and they ate dahi samosa together.

"Hey bani mujhe tumhaari help chahiye" asked jai hesitating a bit.

"haan bolo kya hua "

"mujhe ek ladki ko propose karna hai . kaise karoon aur kab karoon"asked jai

"are 4 din baad hamara farewell hain na us din keh dena. Haan karti hai to achha hai warna koi baat nahi."

"jhapad to nahi padega na?"

"are nahi baba wo din hi aisa hai ki koi kuch nahi bolta samjhe"said bani and they both left for home together.next three days went in a jiff as they all were busy in preparing for their farewell.

On the day of farewell

Bani clad in white and purple sarree. While jai was in a grey suit he was looking handsome. They rocked the party while bani adjusting jai's suit time to time.

"bani mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai "

"haan jai bolo"

"kuch nahi "

Bani saw jai a bit confused but she didn't asked next time.

For the whole party jai told bani he wanted to tell her something and then moving back.

Finally when they were about to leave jai again asked bani that he wanted to tell her something

"haan bolo jai kya baat hai?"

"bani tum waada karo marogi nahi aur hamari dosti bhi nahi tutegi"

"tum to aise ghabra rahe ho jaise kisi ladki ko propose maar rahe ho."said bani laughing

"wohi to karne ki koshish kar raha hoon"

Shocked bani looked at him . her eyes showed shock , happiness and love all .

"bani kya tum mujhse shadi karogi."

"are you serious jai. Tumhe pata bhi hai tum kya keh rahe ho."

"haan bani mujhe pata hai main kya keh raha hoon. Par tumse koi jabardasti nahi hai tum araam se socho. Aaj Saturday hai hum log Monday ko college me milte hain ok"

"jai suno mujhe pata hai tum aur ranveer abhi party karne jaa rahe ho dhabe me. Please zyada mat peena. Hum log Monday ko milenge.bi."

While in the partu jai told ranveer that he has proposed bani and is still waiting for her answer. And also said "Ranveer, mama to tumhe main hi banaoonga."they laughed and got back home.

While satursay night and Sunday went in excitement for jai and bani.

Bani thought"kaisa pagal hai jai . I love you to kaha nahi aur seedha puch raha hai ki shadi karogi mujhse"

Jai thought"kya wo haan karegi ya na karegi"

On Monday jai and bani met . there was an auckward silence between them. Bani said" jai are you sure what you asked me ".

"yes bani I am 100% sure"

"then my answer is yes jai . yes I will marry you."

On 4 march bani was in heaven. For the first time jai told her" I love you bani".that was the best moment in both their lives.

Next three years were bliss for both of them. They hold their hands they kissed. The first time when jai kissed bani it was like heaven for both of them. He kissed her so passionately that bani could not think about anything else.. bani joined her interior classes. She useto bunk her classes and meet jai. When she got her mobile she was excited. She called jai and told her. They use to message each other till the whee hours of morning.

One day during night bani was waiting for jai's message at 11:00 jai message came.

Bani asked him what took him so long . he told her that his uncle is celebrating today as he is blessed with a baby girl today. Then he asked bani what will she like to have.

She said" jai I wll like to have a boy just like you"

"but bani I want to have a girl just like you". They talked late night and their life was going on smoothly.

Till one dreadful day suddenly jai disappeared. Bani called his cell no but it was switched off.she called his landline number but nobody was picking up.she sent thousands of messages but didn't got any reply.she started to feel like that she is not worthy of his love that's why he has left her. she prayed for his happiness whether it was with her or without her. she use to cry during nights holding mobile in her hands that maybe jai will message her or call her. without eating and drinking anything she use to do puja for his happiness and hope that he will call her and will tell her that he is back. She use to call every possible person that was jai's friend but didn't got any news of him. Then she got shocks of her life . she lost her uncle, her cousin brother her grandmother. But she never cried for them because she has to hold her parents and her friend. But it was her daily night routine to wait for jai. she was lost without him.she use to go on the path where she and jai use to go together and wait for him that may be today he will come. But he never came. She knew he is facing some problem but what she didn't knew.

Then one day she met a boy. That boy fell in love with her but she told her that she is already committed but the boy said its ok I will wait for you. But she waited for jai. Its now six years she is waiting.

Its January 2010 she got a call from jai. she was in heaven. Jai told her that he is sorry . then she asked jai

" I know you are not mine but can I ask you something will you give it to me"

"I will try to give it to you"

"I want you to talk to all your friends. Mujhe pata hai k I aap kisi se baat nahi kar rahen. Aap sabse baat karenge. Main chahti hoon ki aap sab logon ke saath rahen. Aur aap itne bade aadmi banenge ki logon ko aapse sir utha kar baat karni pade aur aap sir jhuka kar baarein kare. Aur aap hamesha mere dost ban kar rahe my bestfriend . I want my bestfriend not my love kyun ki mere pyaar par shayad mera haq nahi.""jai was shocked . he asked her why are you so forgiving. She said"bcoz I love you"

Jai agreed. The use to talk daily . jai tried to convince her that she should marry.on insisting she agreed for the boy who fell in love with her. his parents came and told her parents that they will think and will let them know about their decision. Same night she told jai that the boy use to abuse her and her parents. Gaaliyaan deta hai insult karta hai aur phir sorry bolta hai.

Jai said then why she agreed. She told it was for his sake and happiness. Then jai told her to refuse and bani told ki undono ki kundali nahi milti hai to it will be a perfect bahana. But she told that now she has made up her mind that she will not marry anyone. Jai is adamant that she should marry but she is adamant on her part. One day bani was upset and was jai they talked and shared the pain of longing for each other she said that she is very bad that's why she cant get anybody's love and then jai told her" I am not going to say or accept this again in my whole life so please do remember that you are the best bcoz you r mine. I am saying this for the last time I LOVE YOU".bani cried her heart out. One day jai asked her to meet him. Bani saw a ray of hope that jai will tell her to marry him but when she went to meet him she got the shock of her life.

Jai told that he cant marry her. He didn't told her what was the problem but he forced her to marry someone else but bani didn't agreed . he told her that he cant talk to her for a long time he will not be talking to her. but bani asked him one month to talk to her and then she will herself stop talking to him . then bani said that for the last time she want to go on long drive with him. They went for the drive bani held his hands and criend silently. She prayed that this journey should never end.but it ended. She bid him good bye.

She came home and cried hard . she prayed to god that he should change his decision. Now the time of one month is soon going to be over . and her birthday is also coming . she is waiting for the day she will ask him her gift and she knows that she will never get. She will tell him that she is not going to marry somebody else. If she can wait for him for six years she can wait for him till eternity.

jai alled her on her birthday and wished her happy birthday. she asked her gift "jai i know ke aapne kaha tha ke kabhi nahi milenge but main aaj aapse apne liye kuch maang rahi hoo. aap please mere paas ek baar aa jaiye main aapko kahin le jaana chahti hoon." after a bit time he agreed. they met once again. went for another long drive this time jai was the who held both their hands. he asked"isiliye tu mujhe bulayi thi na". haan said bani."i want to let you know how much i have spend my 6 years". they chatted lively and listened to songs.as if they are sharing their pain together. after about 1 hour they went to his room to get her gift and then the thing she got from him was the proof that how much he loved her. when she saw in her eyes she saw passion, love affection,care,pain for her. what they shared then was the most untouchable moments of life.they kissed they held on to each other as if they want the moment to stop there.they sat there while holding their hands and then hi gifted her a mobile and an ipod. and she gifted him a crystal dolphin . she asked him that if there is a chance to come will he come to her . he promised that if there is even 1% chance to get to her nobody will be able to stop him. she kissed him one more time passionately on his lips and bid him goosbye and then told him"if i can wait for you for 6 years i can wait for you till lifetime. i will be waiting for you. bye love you jai" then she came home. she promised him that she will call him only when she will be either very happy or is having serious problem.

she is happy now atleast she got what she wanted. his love and now she is waiting for him to come.she is having faith in her god and in their love. he will one day for sure come to her.
